Apps For Halloween for your Smartphone
Both Android and iPhone Apps for Halloween Weekend
Smartphone apps for Halloween? Yep! For people killing time browsing the Android/iTunes market, there are now smartphone apps for Halloween. Why waste money on smartphone apps for Halloween? Well actually the apps for Halloween can be used year round or they are just worth spending the dollar or two to enjoy!
Smartphone apps for Halloween can help those of us who may not be trick or treating. Let’s say you’ve been out with friends and at some point, lost track of how many adult beverages you consumed over what period of time. You and others then ask the proverbial question, “Are you good to drive?” Instead of guessing if your level of sobriety is enough to drive a dangerous piece of machinery, use the app Can I drive yet. With this app, you put in whatever data you can such as body weight, number of drinks etc. and it tells you if your blood alcohol level is low enough for safe driving or not.
ixRay, another one of the apps for Halloween that I recommend, can help you play a prank on your friends.
This app will show stock images of x-rays as you glide your phone over a person’s hand—it may not be real, but it could fool some people and get a chuckle
Okay, now to some super cool apps for Halloween weekend!

This Android app, for 5 bucks, allows you to sync your phone with your kids’ and receive text updates on their location; kids can locate the parents too. The app will also notify parents if the kids venture outside a pre-set boundary. Don’t you just love GPS technology?
Carve it!

Finally, if you are planning a Halloween party, you will want to check this app out:

So whether it is holiday related or not, remember that your smartphone is your friend—and hopefully these apps can alleviate boredom by playing harmless pranks of friends, ease the pain of balancing your checkbook, save your life by telling you that you are intoxicated and don’t drive, or promote a safe and extra spooky Halloween.
On a more serious note, many cool apps can help manage your finances, such as mint.com. This app, a PC-mag editor’s choice product, can help budget, track, and manage money on the go, and it also synchs up all your online bank accounts for easy viewing balances and transactions. It helps keep track of spending and alerts you of unusual spending behavior and upcoming due dates. We may turn to our phone to see if we can afford that new car or that new house—and the phone might be good enough to say, NO! Thank you phone, thank you for your honesty and candor.
Whether you are using apps for Halloween or not, its pretty cool to see the technology. Just to think if my mom could have kept track of me when I was trick or treating how much further I could go without her worrying. Will these apps for Halloween mean such as the Trick or Tracker mean you feel safer about your kids going out? I will be downloading one or two of the apps for Halloween that I found, think about it!
