Mayan Apocalypse December 21 2012 aka The End of The World
As I sat down this morning to check emails and catch up on some news, I came across an article mentioning that today is the official two-month countdown to the Mayan apocalypse December 21 2012. According to the ancient Mayan calendar, doomsday should reign fire and extinguish life on Earth on December 21st, 2012. Maybe the poles shift or there would be a catastrophic cosmic event?
Two ancient texts confirm the end date of the Mayan Long Count calendar on the winter solstice of this year as the last day of the 13th bak’tun, or 144,000-day cycle of the calendar year. The important thing to consider here is that their calendar has no relationship to lunar or seasonal cycles. The Long Count was principally used for historical purposes, so once any given cycle ends, another begins. The full long count is currently only at bak’tun 12, so according to ancient text, there are another 8 bak’tuns left (about three thousand years) before it flips again. (Sacred Texts)
So, as a conclusion here, anyone preparing for the worse can send me all of their money, stocks, bonds, jewels and other valuables they have left. Come to think of it, I have a buddy selling underground bunkers to hide in. Anyone interested can contact TheBQB.com for more information.
Update: As of 7:11:23 EST and I, Holly Robin Clark, is updating this blog… The world is still here. Maybe the bible meant 6:11 AM West Coast Time?
