Trump for President?

Barack Obama is all about raising taxes on those who make $250,000 and over a year, but guess what, Donald Trump has a few ideas of his own and raising the taxes is not one of them.  President Obama announced back on Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday that he will be campaigning for a second term; as far as Trump is concerned, he is making his announcement on another historic day, May 22nd, the season finale of his reality show, Celebrity Apprentice.  If Donald Trump were to run now than his show would be pulled off the air due to conflicting interests, once again priorities are in order here clearly.

Trump was interviewed this past Wednesday, April 13th, by CNN’s Piers Morgan, along with Whoopi Goldberg who we found out is not too fond of the Donald or his antics towards President Obama. Back in March of 2011 Donald Trump appeared on the view where Whoopi Goldberg wasted no time in asking him the question many whispered but did not dare say, “When was the last time anyone asked a white president to show their birth certificate?” When it comes to the Donald’s most recent onslaught on Obama and his proposal for the budget, Goldberg said it best during her interview with Piers, “The facts are there, he’s basically pissing in the face of the facts.”

During the Donald’s interview the first question regarding if Donald Trump would run for Presidency in the upcoming election may have seemed like an obvious one but any press is good press right?  Trump outlined a few key things that he planned to do differently, claiming that the United States is the laughing stock of the entire world and what is happening to America is just not right.  At CNN’s “State of the Union Address”, Trump stated he would have invaded Libya not only to unseat leader Gadhafi but for the oil as well. When CNN’s host Candy Crowley, expressed dismay at the comment, Trump specified further saying “I’d take the oil. I’d give them plenty so they can live very happily. I would take the oil.” He also expressed that “When you have a war and you win, that nation is yours.”  But I guess we are going to have to wait until May 22nd to find out who wins Celebrity Apprentice and then if Donald Trump will run for President.
