Vanessa Anne Hudgens Makeover or “Makeunder”

Vanessa Anne Hudgens new movie makeover shocked photographers recently when they caught a glimpse of her on set for her new role in Gimme Shelter.  Hudgens movie makeover or should I say “makeunder” shows the value that hair, makeup and wardrobe brings on set, as the actress is say the least, dressed down for her new role.

Usually Hudgen’s appearance is flawless. Her glamorous red carpet dresses and perfect hair and makeup define her pristine style and “girly-girl” persona. However, Hudgens makeover required more of  a ‘makeunder’ for her new role as a troubled teen.

Hudgens role in the film is that of a homeless pregnant teenager. The troubled teen searches for her biological father after leaving her abusive mother. Once found, the father, Brendan Fraser, is unhappy about the pregnancy and wants his daughter to have an abortion. When she refuses, Hudgens is kicked to the streets and forced to survive.

Vanessa emerged on set with a short, spliced up haircut, lip piercing, and neck tattoo; a far cry from her normal clean-cut appearance. Even though it appears Hudgens makeover required her to gain few pounds for the role, combining baggy clothes hang with her new tomboyish persona promises a shocking change. Hudgens makeover or “makeunder” was amplified when she was photographed during a scene eating food from a dumpster in Newark, New Jersey.

The film also stars Rosario Dawson and is scheduled for release sometime in 2012.

Vanessa commented on the movie on Facebook stating “Hey guys, what’s happenin? I have been so stupidly busy working on Gimme Shelter. I’m so excited and proud of the work I’ve been doing and let me tell you, you all are going to be shocked with how I look in this
movie.”  Proving Hudgens makeover for this film even astonished the actress herself.

Vanessa Anne Hudgens is well-known for her leading role as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series and recently played the role of Blondie in 2011 film Sucker Punch- I must say what a transformation! This glamour girl is showing another side of herself, a much less glamorous one and her new role in Gimme Shelter will certainly go down as the ultimate Vanessa Anne Hudgens Makeover!
